Smart grid startup Verdeeco lights up with $800K raise

Smart grid data analytics firm, Verdeeco Inc., has raised $800,000 from several angel investor networks.

The Atlanta startup’s “cloud-based” software service helps electric, water and gas utilities to make sense of the petabytes of data generated from smart meters.

Verdeeco raised the Series A round fromAtlanta Technology Angels. Auburn Angel Network and Upper Carolina Angel Network.
